Breaded Mushroom Burger with Sweet Chili Sauce

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F, gas mark 6).

  • Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems. Season with salt and pepper.

  • Combine the flour with water to make a think liquid

  • Dip each mushroom cap into flour mixture, and then the breadcrumbs.

  • Place the breaded mushrooms on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until crispy.

  • Assemble the burgers by placing lettuce on the bottom bun, followed by the crispy mushroom, a generous amount of sweet chili sauce, and top with the bun.
