Spicy Ramen Bowl with Boiled Egg and Pak Choi

  • Begin by preparing the ramen noodles according to the package instructions. Set aside once cooked.

  • Boil an egg to your preferred level of doneness, typically 6-7 minutes for a slightly runny yolk. Peel and set aside.

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little sesame oil. Once hot, add the pak choi, which has been washed and cut into halves. Sauté until the leaves are wilted and the stems are tender, about 3-4 minutes.

  • To assemble the ramen, place the cooked noodles into two bowls. Arrange the sautéed pak choi next to the noodles.

  • Cut the boiled egg in half and place on top of the noodles.

  • Sprinkle sesame seeds over the dish and add a drizzle of sriracha sauce for spice.

  • Optionally, you can add a spoonful of ramen seasoning for more flavor. Pour hot chicken or vegetable broth over the ingredients if desired.

  • Serve immediately, garnished with additional sriracha sauce if needed.
