  • Heat a tablespoon of oil in a large pan over medium heat.

  • Add chopped onions, garlic, and carrots, and sauté until softened.

  • Add the minced beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.

  • Stir in the tomato paste, chopped tomatoes, and a splash of red wine (optional).

  • Add Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer on low heat for 25-30 minutes to allow the flavors to develop.

  • Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions in salted boiling water.

  • Once the sauce has thickened, taste and adjust seasoning as needed.

  • Drain the spaghetti and divide it between plates. Top with the Bolognese sauce.

  • Garnish with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and serve hot.
