Juicy Pork and Apple Burgers

Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F/Gas Mark 4. Place the frozen chips on a baking tray and cook them according to the packet instructions.

Grate the apple and mix it in a bowl with the mixed herbs, breadcrumbs, and pork mince. Combine everything thoroughly.

Divide the mixture into two even balls, then flatten them to form burger patties. Place them on a lined burger tray.

Bake the patties in the oven for 15 minutes. Grate the cheddar cheese.

When there are two minutes left on the cooking time, remove the patties from the oven and sprinkle the grated cheese on top.

Place the patties back into the oven to melt the cheese. At the same time, put the burger buns in the oven to toast.

Serve the burgers on the buns, topped with apple jam. Enjoy with coleslaw and the cooked chips.

Split the chips between two plates. Add the burger in the bun and top with Apple Jam.
