Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain any excess fat.

Add the taco seasoning and water according to the seasoning package instructions. Simmer for 5 minutes.

While the beef is simmering, prepare the taco boats by placing them on a serving plate.

Chop the lettuce and set aside.

Once the beef is done, assemble the taco boats by adding a layer of chopped lettuce to each boat.

Top with the seasoned beef mixture.

Sprinkle shredded cheese over the beef.

Add a spoonful of salsa on top of each taco boat.

Serve immediately.
