Korma Spice Prawn Pilaf with Green Beans and Carrot

  • In a saucepan, fry the onion for 6 minutes. Add the korma paste and garlic and cook for another 1 minute.

  • Add vegetable stock and basmati rice to the saucepan. Stir well.

  • Bring to a boil, then reduce to medium heat and cook for 10 minutes.

  • Trim and half the green beans. Grate the carrot. Half the lime.

  • Heat a frying pan. When hot, add the green beans and cook for 4 minutes.

  • Add the king prawns and cook for another 4 minutes.

  • Stir in the grated carrot and the prawns into the rice. Squeeze the lime over and stir well.

  • Split between two bowls. Add a spoon of yoghurt on the side.
