Salt and Pepper Chips

Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).

Peel and slice the potatoes into chips or fries.

Toss the chips in olive oil, salt, pepper, and Chinese five-spice powder.

Spread the chips on a baking tray and bake for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway, until golden and crispy.

While the chips are baking, slice the onions and peppers into thin strips.

In a pan, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium heat and sauté the onions and peppers until soft, about 5-7 minutes.

Once the chips are done, toss them together with the sautéed onions and peppers.

Serve the salt and pepper chips immediately, garnished with extra pepper if desired.
