All Recipes in One Place

One of the key functionalities I wanted for Savvy Chef was to have all my recipes in one convenient place. Not only can I store my own recipes, but I can also easily add recipes from various websites. This feature is now live, all on a single page, making it easier than ever to manage my culinary collection.

Solving the Original Problem

To address my original problem of spending hours on meal planning and creating shopping lists, I developed a feature to generate shopping lists in seconds. By adding a meal planning feature, I can now go through and add any recipe to my meal plan and instantly get a shopping list. This has dramatically cut down the time I spend on meal planning each week.

Going a Step Further

Since the development process went faster than expected, I decided to add another useful feature: pantry management. With this feature, users can manage their pantry and quickly find recipes they can make with the ingredients they already have on hand. This not only saves time but also helps reduce food waste.

The progress so far has been incredibly encouraging, and I'm excited to continue improving Savvy Chef.
